FormulaoptimizationusingDesignExpertsoftwarewiththeparameters of thephysicalcharacteristic of ointmentandantibacterialactivity. Factorialdesignpredictedresultsverifieandanalyzed byt-testLSDwith95% confidence level. The optimumcombination ofPEG400andPEG4000 incomparisonof 30,7gand33gin 100g ofointment. Comparison ofpredictionandverificationshowedsignificant differencesin testing parameterspHand notsignificantlydifferentindispersivepower, adhesion,viscosityandantibacterial. Optimal ointmentwith a semi-solidform, pH 4,17, viscosity98,33d.Pas, adhesion 17,33seconds, dispersivepower10,36 cm2 andinhibition zone diameter of 11 mm.
